Does an item have to be in stock to receive a price match?

Competitor online items must be in stock at the time a price match is requested. Items do not need to be in stock on Target.com in order to request a price match. Guests who visit a Target store due to out of stock issues on Target.com may request a price adjustment at Guest Services when applicable. Rain checks are not given for price match requests if items are out of stock at a Target store and Target.com.
