What should I do if Target.com declined my payment?

We tried to bill the issuing bank for your credit card, but they declined the charge. To protect your privacy, the issuer can't give us any information about why the charge won't go through, so you will need to call your issuing bank to resolve this matter.

Target GiftCardClick here to check your Target GiftCard balance.

If the Target GiftCard has a balance, but you are having redemption issues, contact our Target GiftCard Team at 1-800-544-2943.
Third-party Credit CardContact your card issuer by calling the number listed on the back of the card. 
PayPal®Contact PayPal Customer Service at 402-938-3614 or use the Contact Us option at www.paypal.com.
 
In the meantime, if you want to use a different card, visit Target.com or call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869. We'll need the following information from you: 
  • The credit card number, expiration date and security code if required
  • The name on the card
  • Your order number
