Exchange an item

Target Help doesn't offer exchanges. You'll need to return the item and place a new order. In some cases, the store may be able to offer an exchange if:
  • The item is store returnable and in stock at your local store.
  • You have the receipt or packaging list dated within 90 days.
  • The item is new and unused.
Exchanges on free promotional items are offered with a valid receipt if the free promotional item you wish to exchange is defective and we have a replacement item in stock.
