We’ll match the price if you buy a qualifying item at Target, then find the identical item for less at, select online competitors, or in Target’s or a competitor’s local printed or digital ad. Price matches may be requested at the time of purchase or price adjustments within 14 days of purchase. The full list of online competitors is available online or at Guest Services. Some exclusions apply. has the same policy as purchases made in stores. Stores are unable to match or adjust the price for a order. Please call Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869 for a price adjustment. A local retail competitor for store purchases includes retail stores located in the same market area (within a 25-mile radius) of your local Target store.

Clearance prices are not eligible. Target stores don't price match other Target stores. For additional exclusions and details, please see our Price Match Guarantee exclusions.
  • Produce items must be the identical item, brand name (e.g., Dole®, Chiquita®), size, weight and quantity to qualify for price match.
  • Items need to be sold in the same unit of measure (per pound vs. per item).
  • Non-SuperTargets can't match per-pound items.

Pricing for products on may vary from Target stores and from the Target Weekly Ad. 

If you see a lower price listed in our Target Weekly Ad within 14 days of your purchase, we will adjust the price of your online order to match the advertised price if (1) you contact us during the time when the lower price is featured in the Weekly Ad; and (2) the lower price is not on a clearance item. purchases cannot be price matched in a Target store. Note: Price matches and adjustments will not be allowed for prices from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday, whether offered by Target or a competitor.
  • Local printed ads: Present the entire printed advertisement. Photos or photocopies of the ad cannot be accepted as verification of a competitors printed ad. Digital versions of printed advertisements are accepted. 
  • Online prices: Present the price on your mobile device from a qualifying competitor's website or A Target team member will then verify the match using a Target device.
Competitor online items must be in stock at the time a price match is requested. Items do not need to be in stock on in order to request a price match. Guests who visit a Target store due to out of stock issues on may request a price adjustment at Guest Services when applicable. Rain checks are not given for price match requests if items are out of stock at a Target store and
Manufacturer coupons will be applied after the price match is made. Target coupons and Cartwheel℠ offers can’t be applied with price match.

Online search engines may show a different price from the website due to web caching (memory stored in the computer for future use). The correct prices are on Due to timing issues with publishing, the pricing you may find on comparison shopping sites can be outdated.
The price reduction on items labeled Sale or Temporary Price Cut is for a limited time only. The price reduction on items labeled Price Cut is permanent. The price reduction on Clearance items is also permanent; in addition, these items are usually being discontinued, and the price reduction is valid only as supplies last. 
This message appears on select items which have discounts applied and calculated when added to cart, when this price is below the manufacturer’s minimum retail price. You can preview the discounted price by clicking on the See Low Price in Cart link on an item’s page or see low price on a search results page. Please note that by adding an item to your cart, you are not obligated to complete your purchase.
These fees may be assessed to oversized or extremely heavy items. If applicable to an item, you’ll see this noted on the item’s page. This fee will vary depending on the size and weight of the item. You can view this fee before you complete your purchase. It will be included in the shipping & handling subtotal of your order.
We can't confirm the price of an item until your order enters the shipping process. As part of our shipping process, we verify availability and the price before an item is shipped out. We won't charge your credit card until we've verified this information.
  • If the correct price is higher than our stated price, if the item is no longer available, or we determine that there were inaccuracies in our product information, we'll cancel the order and notify you via email.
  • If the correct price is lower than our stated price, we'll charge the lower amount and ship the item(s) to you.
When your order ships, you will receive an order confirmation email sent to the email address you entered during checkout. 
You’ll be charged when your order ships. When you place a pre-order, Target sends an authorization hold request to your card issuer. If the card issuer allows the authorization hold to expire, Target may resubmit the authorization hold request. Depending on the item’s release date, you may see several authorization holds for the same item. Please note that authorization holds are not actual posted charges. They are temporary and will eventually expire and drop off your account. If at any point during the pre-order process an authorization hold request fails, Target automatically cancels the order.
If the item is no longer on sale, we aren't able to match any of our previous prices. Prices frequently change on Promotions are only valid during the timeframe stated, such as a 3-hour sale with promo code. Promotions are not valid on previous orders.
If your purchase was made within the allowable price adjustment timeframe, and the price point of all applicable items being purchased are clearly listed, you can request a price match to receive the BOGO offer. The items that were purchased to qualify for the BOGO item will receive the current retail price with the promotion.
Free-shipping promotions cannot be applied to previous orders.
When placing an order on, you’ll be charged in U.S. dollars. If you live outside the U.S. and you’re placing an order for international delivery using our site managed by Borderfree, you have the option to select the currency of your choice, including U.S. dollars.
For international payments, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, REDcard or PayPal.
Target does not offer volume discounts, whether it is additional discounts on large amounts of a single item or of many different items.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of items on the site may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable. We may experience lags in uploading updates throughout the site and in our advertising on other sites.
