How do I use my team member discount?

To use your team member discount in store, present your team member discount card or Wallet in the Target app at checkout to be scanned.

To use or remove your team member discount from your Target account profile, team members are required to log into their Target.com account or Target app. You will only need to add or remove your team member discount in one location (changes made will apply to both your Target.com account and your Target app account profile).

Target App
To add your team member discount via your Target app account:

1. Access your Target account.
2. In the My Target tab, select the Settings icon.
3. Select Profile.
4. Underneath the About me section, select Add in the Team member discount field. 
5. Enter your team member discount ID.
6. Select Save.

 
To remove your team member discount via your Target app account:

1. Access your Target account.
2. In the My Target tab, select the Settings icon.
3. Select Profile.
4. Underneath the About me section, select Remove in the Team member discount field. 

 
Target.com
You can add your team member discount via your Target account two different ways:

1. Access your Target account.
2. Go to your Account.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select About me.
5. Enter first and last name & your team member discount ID.
6. Select Save.

OR

1. Access your Target account.
2. Add item(s) to cart and proceed to checkout.
3. Select Add promo code under Order summary section.
4. Enter team member number in Add promo code field. Select Add.
5. Complete checkout process.

To remove your team member discount via your Target.com account:

1. Access your Target account.
2. Go to your Account.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Edit in the About me section. Select Remove team member discount.
5. Select Yes.

To be eligible for the team member discount, payment must be made with one of the following in order to apply your team member discount: Target Debit Card™, Target™ Mastercard®, Target Credit Card™, Target GiftCard, Target Circle Reloadable Account & debit card, Target Paycard (select Credit at checkout), DailyPay Card, EBT and food stamp cards. You cannot use non-Target debit/cash cards or credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. It is not acceptable for you to purchase Target GiftCards with a non-Target debit/cash card or credit card for the purpose of working around these restrictions. 
 
The team member discount will apply only to the purchase amount tendered by the eligible form of payment. The team member discount applies to eligible purchases minus any other discounts and the value of any promotional Target gift cards received in the transaction. 
 
Your team member discount can be used in combination with some promo codes. Items that aren’t eligible for the team member discount include: 

• Shipping charges 
• Merchandise for anyone who is going to pay you back. A discount holder may use the discount when purchasing a gift with a group of people, provided the team member makes a financial contribution equal to or greater than that of the other givers. 
• Items you sell or exchange for profit  
• Hunting and fishing licenses, lottery tickets and certain services (such as optical eye exams)  
• Free coupon merchandise  
• Alcohol  
• Target GiftCards or third-party gift cards (such as Disney, iTunes, Outback Steakhouse, etc.) 
• Merchandise from targetphoto.com 
• Items sold by a Target Plus™ Partner
