If you purchased a plan as a gift for someone, we recommend waiting until after you have gifted it to transfer the plan. As soon as you transfer it, an automated email will be sent to the receiver.
To transfer a plan to someone else:
- Visit www.allstateprotectionplans.com/user/login to log into your account.
- Select My Plans.
- Select the protection plan you’d like to transfer.
- Select Cancel/Transfer Plan from the Quick Links menu.
- Enter the receiver’s name, address, phone number, and email address.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you and the receiver as soon as the plan is transferred.
If you’re trying to purchase a plan for a product you received as a gift, you can do so within 30 days of the purchase date. To purchase a plan, bring the original product receipt to Guest Services or visit Target.com.
