What is Target Circle Card?

Target RedCard™ is changing its name to Target Circle™ Card! Target Circle Card is a payment option with credit, debit and reloadable offerings– allowing you to find the right option for you. When you pay with Target Circle Card, you’ll:

What if I already have a RedCard?

There is nothing you need to do if you already have a RedCard. You can continue to use it and enjoy the same benefits. You’ll see the new Target Circle Card branding reflected automatically in the Target app if your card is connected there. If you have a physical RedCard, you’ll receive a new Target Circle Card via mail closer to your card expiration date.

What are the benefits of using a Target Circle™Card?

When you use your Target Circle™ Debit Card, Target Circle™ Credit Card or Target Circle™ Mastercard® at Target stores or Target.com, you will receive 5% off on your purchases. If you use a Target Circle Card in the same purchase transaction with another form of payment, the 5% discount will apply only to the purchase amount tendered to your Target Circle™ Card. 5% discount applies to eligible purchases minus any other discounts and the value of any promotional Target gift cards received in the transaction. Target reserves the right to discontinue or alter the terms of this program at any time.   

5% discount does not apply to the following:   
  • Prescriptions, over-the-counter items located behind the pharmacy counter and clinic services at Target   
  • Target Optical eye exams and protection plans (Target Optical products, such as glasses and contact lenses, do receive the 5% discount)   
  • Target GiftCards; Visa, Mastercard and American Express prepaid cards; Game On, DraftKings, and other sports betting gift cards; and Starbucks gift cards purchased at Starbucks locations within Target stores   
  • Previous purchases   
  • Target credit account payments, Target Circle Reloadable Card cash reloads, Target Debit Card cash back and cash advances on the Target Mastercard

What is the difference between a Target.com account and Manage My Target Circle™ Card?

A Target.com account is used to manage your online orders and registries, while Manage My Circle Card is used to manage your Target Credit Card™, Target Debit Card™ and Target™ Mastercard®, including paying your Target Circle Card credit card bill, setting alerts, viewing transactions and updating your personal information.

How do I get a Target Circle™ Card Reloadable Account & personalized card?

You must apply online. In-store applications aren’t available. Visit www.targetcirclereloadable.com or https://www.target.com/circlecard to apply.  

If you’re approved, you’ll need to wait for your physical card to arrive in the mail for in-store purchases. Upon successful online registration and email verification, a virtual temporary card will be made available for online purchases while you wait for your personalized card to arrive in the mail.  

Once you add money to your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account, log into your account to access your virtual temporary card number, CVV code and expiration date.  

Once you’ve added money to your Account, you can use your virtual temporary card for online purchases, including order pickup at a Target location, until your personalized card arrives.

Are there limits with my Target Circle™ Card Reloadable Account?

Yes. The limits below are:
  • Maximum balance: $250,000 per account
  • ACH: $10,000 per day
  • Direct deposit: $ 10,000 per day
  • Cash loads: $2500 per day, $5000 per month
  • Remote check capture: $2500 per day, $5000 per month

  • You can use your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account to purchase Target GiftCards. 
  • You can use your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account in combination with a Target GiftCard to make purchases on Target.com or in-stores. 
  • You cannot use your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account in combination with another credit card on Target.com.

  • In-store transactions:
    • A PIN will be required if you select Debit.
      • You must select Debit and enter your PIN for cash back.
    • A PIN is not required if you select Credit.

You're not able to use your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account or personalized card to make payments on your Target™ Mastercard® or Target Credit Card™.
