Target Coupon Policy
Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping with us, and it is easy to use them at our stores and online. When accepting coupons, we follow the guidelines below to ensure all guests have the opportunity to purchase products at great prices.

Manufacturer Coupons & Target Offers

• Only one manufacturer coupon (paper or digital), one Target category offer, and one Target item level offer can be combined per item.
• Paper Manufacturer Coupons are valid for in store purchases.
• We have the right to refuse, or limit the use of any coupon and/or the subsequent return for any reason, including if guests' reoccurring behavior becomes disruptive or the items are deemed not to be for the purpose of using or gifting.
• Limit of 4 identical coupons per household, per day (unless otherwise noted on coupon).
• We do not accept expired coupons.
• All coupons and Target Circle must be presented to the cashier during checkout and have a scannable barcode. Coupons and Target Circle Bonus cannot be applied to previous purchases.
• Manufacturer coupons must scan at the register, which validates to a master file of valid coupons. Coupons not on the master file are not accepted.
• Item purchased must match the coupon description (brand, size, quantity, color, flavor, etc.). Acceptance of unmatched coupons is against policy.
• Coupons are void if copied, scanned, altered, transferred, purchased, sold, or prohibited by law.
• The value of a coupon will be applied up to the reduced price of the item and any excess value will not be applied to the transaction total.
• We do not give cash back nor do we apply any overages to the remaining items in the transaction if the value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.
• The sales tax is calculated by using the full value of an item prior to applying a manufacturer coupon. Target coupons reduce the taxable amount of the items to which they apply, unless prohibited by law.
• We cannot accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
• We do not accept counterfeit coupons.
• Manufacturer coupons are not accepted on mobile phones, with the exception of Target Circle manufacturer coupons.
• Target coupons and Target Circle offers cannot be used on products sold by CVS.

Internet (Print-at-Home) Coupons

• We gladly accept valid internet coupons with a scannable barcode.
• We do not accept internet coupons for free items with no purchase requirements.  

Category & Storewide Offers

• Only one category level offer per guest can be used for any individual item, unless otherwise noted on the offer.
• Only one storewide offer per guest can be used per transaction.
• If redeeming more than one offer for different categories or storewide offers, you must meet the purchase requirements for each offer individually.

Buy One Get One Free Coupons (BOGO)

• BOGO coupons cannot be combined (i.e. you cannot use two BOGO coupons on two items and get both for free). Unless stated otherwise on the coupon, the use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.

Returns

• When you return any item, your return credit will not include any promotional discount or coupon that applied to the original order.
• Target reserves the right to decline the return of items purchased with manufacturer coupons or rebates.

• Spend $35 or more using any payment method (excluding AK, HI & U.S. protectorates).

One coupon per purchase means you're using one coupon per item being purchased. You can use multiples of the same coupon as long as each coupon has a matching item.

One coupon per transaction means you can use only one specific coupon per store transaction. You can't use more than one same coupon, even if you're buying multiple items.

A manufacturer coupon is a coupon issued by a manufacturer that offers a free item or a specific amount off the purchase price of one or more of a manufacturer's products. The phrase "Manufacturer Coupon" will be printed on coupon or on the Target Circle Deals detail page.

A store coupon is issued by Target. It offers a free item or a specific amount off the purchase price of one or more products. You can identify a store coupon because "Target Coupon" is printed on the coupon. 

Manufacturer Coupons
Target will accept your manufacturer coupon as long as printed limitations and requirements are met. Keep in mind:

• Manufacturer coupons found on the Internet and printed are accepted, if the manufacturer has added the coupon as part of the Target database.
• Manufacturer coupons found in Target Circle are accepted

Category / Department or Storewide Coupons

• If you're redeeming more than one category/department or storewide coupon, you must meet purchase requirements for each coupon individually. The percent-off coupon will apply to all qualifying items in transaction. No other same category/department or storewide coupon will apply.
• Target item-level coupons can be used while using a category/storewide coupon (e.g. $1 off Target coupon for body wash AND a $5 off $15 Target Personal Care purchase). The threshold for the category coupon is based on the retail of the qualified items prior to manufacturer item-level and Target item-level coupons.

Target.com Coupons
If a Target coupon is accepted on Target.com, it will include an alpha-numeric promo code that you enter during checkout (for example, TGTXXXXX). We reserve the right to accept, refuse, or limit the use of any coupon. Target Circle™ deals will indicate where the offer is accepted. Target.com doesn't accept the following:

• Expired promo codes
• Internet promo codes for free items with no purchase requirements
• Promo codes for products not carried at Target
• Store-only coupons 
• Promo codes for items that don't match the coupon description (brand, size, quantity, color, flavor, etc.)

DMCs are manufacturer coupons available in Target Circle™. They are single-use and do not stack with paper manufacturer coupons.

The sales tax is calculated by using the full value of your item prior to applying a manufacturer coupon. Target coupons and Target Circle™ offers reduce the taxable amount of the items to which they apply, unless prohibited by law.
