Price Match Guarantee
  • We’ll match the price if you buy a qualifying item at Target and then find the identical item for less at Target.com, Amazon, Walmart or with a Target Circle™ deal (deals that apply automatically upon identifying yourself as a Target Circle member). Price matches may be requested at time of purchase or within 14 days after purchase. 
  • To request a price match, provide proof of the current lower price at Guest Services in your local Target store. For Target.com purchases, call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869.
  • Reference the details below for more information on what items are eligible for price matching and what proof is required.

Guidelines & Limitations
  • The price for an item must be listed and valid at the time of match. We reserve the right to verify a competitor’s advertised price and the availability of the item. If Target is not able to verify the lower price, we may decline the request. 
  • The item must be the identical item, brand name, size, weight, color, quantity and model number. It also must be sold and fulfilled by Amazon or Walmart, and in stock for shipping and delivery / pickup at time of price match.
  • Price match will be validated only on Amazon’s or Walmart’s primary website and must meet all other price match criteria.
  • Proof of any Target Circle deal requires member sign in, sign up or mobile number entered at checkout.
  • Please show the online price or digital version of the ad on your mobile device for proof of price. 
  • Original receipts, physical or digital, or packing slips are required for price adjustments up to 14 days after purchase.
  • In-store price matches from other Target stores are excluded.
  • When price matching with the Target app, the Target app must be showing the price of the current store location.
  • We match Target.com prices on in-store Target purchases and in-store Target prices for Target.com purchases. 
  • No rain checks will be issued for items out of stock at Target or Target.com to match a competitor's price.
  • We reserve the right to deny purchase and limit quantities per guest. 
  • Price match of items sold by any competitor in store or online are not available in Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Price match of items sold by Target.com or prices through the Target app are not available in Alaska and Hawaii. 

Exclusions
  • Target Circle Bonuses (just-for-you bonuses that you must tap to add in the Target app or on Target.com), gift card offers (Target GiftCard, specialty and pre-paid gift card), Registry completion coupons and Target coupons cannot be combined with price match. Manufacturer coupons will be applied after a price match is made, for in-store purchases only. Please review our coupon policy for additional details. 
  • Target Circle deals cannot be combined with competitor price matches.
  • Clearance, closeout, liquidation sales, damaged, used, open package, refurbished, pre-owned, or rent / lease to own items, discount on total store or site purchase, deals that require a minimum purchase, non-branded items, or prices that only display on a competitor website after guests log in.
  • Pricing due to typographical errors, competitor coupon offers, loyalty cards, promotional codes or lightning sales (including Amazon Prime or Amazon Fresh Exclusive offers). 
  • All credit card offers, gift card offers financing, service offers, bundled offers, sales tax promotions, free items, rebates or mail-in offers.
  • Contract mobile phone devices and the associated plans, optical, product services (warranties, assembly, etc.), clinic and pharmacy purchases and offers, or  pre-order items.
  • “Marketplace” prices from third party sellers.
  • Any item sold by a Target Plus™ Partner on Target.com or any Target application are not eligible for price match.
  • Items containing alcohol will be subject to state-by-state regulations. Alcohol price matching is not allowed for online exclusive retailers (e.g., Amazon).
  • Membership price of Target Circle 360™ with any competitor membership or subscription.

Target reserves the right to deny returns, refunds and exchanges including but not limited to prevent fraud, suspected fraud or abuse.

Target's Return Policy
Most unopened items sold by Target in new condition and returned within 90 days will receive a refund or exchange. The return window for items sold on Target.com begins once the order has been invoiced. Invoicing happens when any part of the order is shipped, delivered by a Shipt shopper or made ready for pick up. Some items sold by Target have a modified return policy noted on the receipt, packing slip, Target policy board (refund exceptions), Target.com or in the item description. Items that are opened or damaged or do not have a receipt may be denied a refund or exchange.

Target Plus™ Partner’s Return Policy
Most unopened items sold by a Target Plus Partner in new condition and returned within 90 days will receive a refund. The return window for items sold on Target.com begins once the order has been invoiced. All items sold by Partners must be returned to Target, either in store or by mail. Some items sold by a Target Plus Partner have a modified return policy on Target.com. Items that are opened or damaged may be denied a refund. In-store returns without an eligible receipt will be denied. Some items, such as electronics, may have a shorter return window. Refer to the individual item description for return policy information.

Target.com deals the following shipping options, which may vary by item:
  • Standard Shipping: Standard shipping is typically the default checkout setting. Your item(s) are expected to be delivered within 3–5 business days after the items have been shipped and picked up by the delivery carrier. Delivery dates may be extended when shipping volume is high. Spend $35 or more, or place your order using your Target Circle Card and receive free standard shipping.
    • Your order may ship in multiple packages so we’re able to deliver your order faster. 
    • Some ship to home orders are eligible for no-rush shipping and could have multiple packages consolidated. This may change your delivery dates. Packages that qualify will be eligible for a $1 discount off the merchandise subtotal. Merchandise subtotal does not include Gift Cards, eGiftCards, MobileGiftCards, tax or shipping and handling charges. Discount will be displayed and applied at checkout. May not be applied to previous orders. Ineligible carts will not be shown an option to consolidate and will not receive the discount.
  • 2-Day Shipping: Depending on the item origin and shipping destination, 2-day shipping may be available in select areas. Your item(s) are expected to be delivered within 2 business days after the items have been shipped and picked up by the delivery carrier. For eligible items, spend $35 or more, or place your order using your Target Circle Card and receive free 2-day shipping. 
  • Next-day Shipping: Available for eligible items in select markets. Fees and cutoff times vary by market.
  • Express Shipping: Express Shipping is available for pre-order items only. Your item(s) are expected to be delivered within 1 business day after the items have been shipped and picked up by the delivery carrier. 

Please note:
  • Business days don’t typically include weekends, however Saturday and Sunday deliveries may occur in select ZIP codes. 
  • Some items may not be eligible for 2-days or Express shipping due to size, weight, quantities, delivery address or vendor constraints. 
  • Shipping charges for Express shipping are calculated on a "per order" basis, including shipping, order processing, item selection and packaging costs, and will only apply to the items using these shipping speeds. 
  • While most items ship within 24 hours, some vendors and shipping locations may require additional processing time. This processing time is factored into the estimated delivery date shown at checkout.

To visit order details in the Target app, select your name icon in the lower right corner, then select Purchases. On Target.com, select Orders in the upper right corner. Select the order from Purchases or select the order from Order history to view order details, including status and tracking details.

Tracking information can take up to 24 hours to appear after your item ships. You can enable notifications in the Target app to receive status updates.

Target reserves the right to deny returns, refunds and exchanges including but not limited to prevent fraud, suspected fraud or abuse.

Returns and exchanges without a receipt may be limited. Other restrictions may apply.
  • Target Owned Brand items: If you’re not satisfied with any Target Owned Brand item, return it within one year with a receipt for an exchange or a refund.
  • EBT card purchases: Any item paid for with an EBT card online must be returned within 90 days of the date it was shipped, delivered by a Shipt shopper, or made ready for pickup. This 90-day return window is required by SNAP.
  • Target Circle Card purchases: Target Circle™ debit and credit card holders will receive an extra 30 days to return nearly all items purchased with their Target Circle Card at Target and Target.com. Visit Target.com/CircleCard for full details and exclusions.
  • Holiday & limited-time-only collections: Items may have modified return policies.
  • Purchases at Optical, Pharmacy, Starbucks & Target Tech: Items must be returned or exchanged at these areas.
  • International purchases: Target stores cannot accept international returns or exchanges, including international returns and exchanges of online purchases

The following items cannot be returned:
  • Trading cards & trading card accessories (e.g., Pokemon, Sport cards, trading card binders)
  • Open or defective collectibles (e.g., special edition Barbie dolls, porcelain dolls, action figures and die-cast cars)
  • Personalized items and digital downloads
  • Opened/unsealed breast pumps
  • Specialty gift cards, pre-paid gift cards and Target GiftCards cannot be returned or redeemed for cash or credit except where required by law. This includes Target GiftCards, Visa®, Mastercard®, or American Express® Gift Card, restaurant, entertainment, lottery cards.

The following items are eligible only for exchange if opened:
  • Music, movies, video games and software (exchange for same title, for same or different gaming platform)
  • Airbeds (exchange for similar item)

The following items have a shorter window for returns and exchanges:
  • Electronics and entertainment items (excluding Apple® products) must be returned/exchanged within 30 days.
  • All Apple® products (excluding mobile phones) must be returned/exchanged within 15 days.
  • Mobile phones purchased in-store or online via Order Pickup must be returned/exchanged within 14 days.

Additional Fees: Mobile Phones
  • Mobile phones purchased with a carrier contract may be subject to early termination fees per carrier contract if returned or exchanged. Contract items and carrier plans must be returned in a Target store with help from a Target Tech Rep.
  • A restocking charge of up to $35 for phones may apply except where prohibited. The restocking charge will be taxed in select states. There is no restocking charge if the product is unopened.

Place your order by the order cutoff time to receive 2-day shipping on select items to select ZIP codes. The order cutoff is typically 12 p.m. local time in the destination to which you’re shipping, but may vary depending on item location. Refer to the product detail page for estimated delivery dates. Standard shipping fees may apply. To qualify for free 2-day shipping, you must use your Target CircleCard or place an order over $35.

Thousands of items qualify for 2-day shipping. Item eligibility and assortment vary by market and are determined by the location of the item and the destination ZIP code. If an item is eligible for 2-day shipping, it’ll be noted on the product detail page and on the cart & check out page. 

For items that don’t qualify for 2-day shipping, Target offers standard shipping. With standard shipping, your items are expected to be delivered within 3-5 business days after the items have shipped. Standard shipping is free on orders over $35 or on orders placed with a Target CircleCard.

The charts below provide general delivery guidelines for 2-day shipping. Actual delivery dates depend on order cutoff times and carrier delivery schedules. Refer to the product detail page for estimated delivery dates.

Some items ship in their original packaging, and there’s no way to hide what it is. In most cases, this is noted on the item detail page and during checkout. If the item you wish to purchase can’t be left in a safe space or if you’re giving it as a gift and don’t want to ruin the surprise, here are a couple options:
  • Have the item sent to your workplace or to a relative’s house.
  • Choose order pickup or ship it to a store if available.

We'll send an email confirmation as soon as we receive your order. Once we start processing it, items may be canceled for reasons such as:
  • An item becomes unavailable
  • The payment method can't be processed
  • The shipping address can't be verified
For Order Pickup or Drive Up, we'll cancel items that aren't picked up during the pickup window. We'll send an email about the cancellation and, when possible, include helpful details around updating payment or address details or reordering items.

Your Drive Up or Order Pickup order will usually be ready for pickup within 2 hours after you place your order. 
  • Select stores may take up to 6 hours to have your order ready. Please refer to the item’s detail page or review timing in your cart.

Drive Up and Pickup orders can be canceled by:
  •  Accessing your order details page and cancel items. 
    • Target app: You can find this by going to Purchase history in your My Target tab.
    • Target.com: Find by going to Orders in your name drop-down.
  • Calling Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869.
  • Requesting a cancellation at the Guest Services desk in your pickup store.
  • Not picking the order up within the pickup window.
