Price Match Guarantee:
  • We’ll match the price if you buy a qualifying item at Target then find the identical item for less at Target.com, select online competitors, or in Target’s or competitor’s local print ad. Price matches may be requested at time of purchase or within 14 days after purchase. The full list of online competitors is available online or at Guest Services.
  • If you find a current lower price within 14 days after purchase, just bring in the proof and we will adjust your payment to the lower price, upon request. Target store price matches and adjustments are completed at the store on any lane. For Target.com purchases, call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869.
  • Shop early, shop with confidence this holiday season. For Black Friday deal purchases made between November 1 – 28, 2020 you’ll qualify for a price adjustment if the Target store or Target.com price goes down any time on or before December 24, 2020. We’ll waive the 14 day requirement and adjust the price for qualifying purchases, upon request. 

Guidelines and limitations:
  • The price for an item must be listed and valid at the time of match. We reserve the right to verify a competitor’s advertised price and the availability of the item. If Target is not able to verify the lower price, we may decline the request. 
  • The item must be the identical item, brand name, size, weight, color, quantity and model number. It must be in stock at the time of Price Match for approved online competitors. It also must be sold and fulfilled by one of the select competitors listed here.
  • Offers found on deal websites will be validated at the retailer’s primary website and must meet all other price match criteria.
  • Please bring the entire printed ad, or show the online price or digital version of the ad on your mobile device for proof of price. Original receipts or packing slips are required for price adjustments after purchase.
  • We match Target.com prices on in-store purchases and in-store prices for Target.com purchases. In-store price matches from other Target stores are excluded.
  • When price matching with the Target app, the Target app must be showing the price of the current store location.
  • Alaska and Hawaii Target stores are excluded from price matching online competitors.
  • No rain checks will be issued for items out of stock at Target or Target.com to match a competitor's price.
  • We reserve the right to limit price quantities of price matches per identical item per guest for local and/or online competitor matches.

Exclusions:
  • Clearance, closeout, liquidation sales, damaged, used, open package, refurbished, pre-owned, or rent/lease to own items, storewide or category promotions, offers advertised as % or $ off, non-branded items, or prices that only display on a website after guests log in.
  • Pricing due to typographical errors, competitor doorbusters/lightning sales (including Amazon Prime or Amazon Fresh Exclusive offers), coupon offers, loyalty cards, promotional codes, credit card offers, gift card offers, financing, service offers, bundled offers, sales tax promotions, free items, rebates or mail-in offers.
  • Contract mobile phone devices and the associated plans, optical, product services (warranties, assembly, etc.), clinic and pharmacy purchases and offers, or game reservations.
  • “Marketplace” prices from third party sellers.
  • Any item sold by a Target Plus™ Partner on Target.com or any Target application are not eligible for price match.
  • Target Circle offers, Target Gift Card offers, Registry completion coupons and Target coupons cannot be combined with price match. Manufacturer coupons will be applied after a price match is made, for in-store purchases only. Please review our Store Coupon Policy for additional details.
  • Items containing alcohol will be subject to state-by-state regulations. Alcohol price matching is not allowed for online exclusive retailers (e.g., Amazon).
  • Price matches and adjustments to competitors will not be allowed for prices valid from Thanksgiving Day through the entire week after Thanksgiving.

Starting August 1, we’re requiring guests to wear masks or face coverings in all of our stores, except for those with underlying medical conditions and young children. This builds on the more than 80% of our stores that already require guests to wear face coverings due to local and state regulations. Given the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the role masks play in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, our store team members also already wear masks when they come to work, which we provide for them. 
To help our guests, we’ll be:
  • Providing disposable masks at our store entrances to guests who do not have one.
  • Adding signage, overhead audio reminders and stationing team members at store entrances to remind guests to wear masks. 
  • Guiding guests to shop our various no-contact fulfillment options, including Drive Up, Target.com and Shipt, if they’d prefer. 
  • Continuing to monitor the situation and respond accordingly with the goal of keeping our team and guests safe.

  • We use a handful of delivery partners (including FedEx and UPS) to deliver our products. We have been working with our carriers to plan for the expected surge in shipping volume this holiday season, but delays are still expected this holiday season. While we do our best to provide our best estimated delivery date to you, high shipping volume may result in delays to those estimates. Most packages will deliver within 1 to 2 days of the estimated delivery date.
  • Because of an increase in the number of purchases made online, some items you’re used to getting shipped to you might not be available to ship temporarily. Most of these items are available for Drive Up, Order Pickup and Same Day Delivery (shopped by Shipt).

Target's Return Policy
Most unopened items sold by Target in new condition and returned within 90 days will receive a refund or exchange. Some items sold by Target have a modified return policy noted on the receipt, packing slip, Target policy board (refund exceptions), Target.com or in the item description. Items that are opened or damaged or do not have a receipt may be denied a refund or exchange. New Jersey stores will continue to observe state-ordered return restrictions. 

Target Plus™ Partner’s Return Policy
Most unopened items sold by a Target Plus Partner in new condition and returned within 90 days will receive a refund. All items sold by Partners must be returned to Target, either in store or by mail. Some items sold by a Target Plus Partner have a modified return policy on Target.com. Items that are opened or damaged may be denied a refund. Some items, such as electronics, may have a shorter return window. Refer to the individual item description for return policy information. Halloween items follow the standard return policy. Visit here to learn more about the return policy.  

Stores will follow their standard cleaning and quarantine processes before returning items to the sales floor.
  • Hard surfaced items: Returned item that have a hard surface must be cleaned before being returned to the sales floor if item has a hard surface that can be wiped down.
  • Soft goods items: Returned items that have a soft surface or is made of fabric, must be quarantined for one day before being returned to the sales floor.

For Electronics and Entertainment items purchased October 1 through December 25, the refund period will begin on December 26.  
  • For all electronics and entertainment items (excluding Apple® products) purchased between 10/1-12/25, the 30-day refund period will start on 12/26. 
  • For all Apple® products (excluding mobile phones) purchased between 10/1-12/25, the 15-day refund period will start on 12/26.

Returns and exchanges without a receipt may be limited. Other restrictions may apply.
  • If you’re not satisfied with any Target Owned Brand item, return it within one year with a receipt for an exchange or a refund.
  • Target RedCard™ debit and credit card holders will receive an extra 30 days to return nearly all items purchased with their RedCard at Target and Target.com. Visit Target.com/RedCard for full details and exclusions.
  • All electronics and entertainment items (excluding Apple® products) must be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange. For these items purchased between 10/1-12/25, the 30-day refund period will start on 12/26. 
  • All mobile phones must be returned or exchanged within 14 days of in-store purchase or online order pickup. A restocking charge of up to $35 for phones may apply except where prohibited. The restocking charge will be taxed in select states. There is no restocking charge if the product is unopened. All items purchased with a carrier contract must be returned or exchanged within 14 days and may be subject to early termination fees per carrier contract. Contract items and carrier plans must be returned in a Target store with help from a Target Tech Rep.
  • All Apple® products (excluding mobile phones) must be returned within 15 days. For these items purchased between 10/1-12/25, the 15-day refund period will start on 12/26.
  • Holiday items and limited-time-only collections may have modified return policies.
  • ​Open music, movies, video games and software cannot be returned, but may be exchanged at the store for the same title, for the same or different gaming platform.
  • Open airbeds cannot be returned, but may be exchanged for a similar item.
  • Open or defective collectibles (e.g., sports cards, special edition Barbie dolls, porcelain dolls, action figures and die-cast cars) cannot be returned.
  • Personalized items and digital downloads cannot be returned. 
  • Target stores cannot accept international returns or exchanges, including international returns and exchanges of online purchases.
  • Items purchased at Optical, Pharmacy, Starbucks and Target Tech must be returned or exchanged at these areas.
  • Specialty, pre-paid and all gift cards (e.g., Target GiftCards, Target™ Visa®, Mastercard®, or American Express® Gift Card, restaurant, entertainment, lottery cards) cannot be returned or redeemed for cash or credit except where required by law.
  • Gasoline powered items such as lawnmowers can only be returned to a Target store and must be completely emptied of hazardous substances such as gasoline or oil at the time of return. If your item contains hazardous residue contact Target Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869.

New Jersey stores will continue to observe state-ordered return restrictions.

Target.com offers the following shipping options, which may vary by item:
  • Standard Shipping: Standard shipping is typically the default checkout setting. Your item(s) are expected to be delivered within 3–5 business days after the items have been shipped and picked up by the delivery carrier. Delivery dates may be extended when shipping volume is high. Spend $35 or more, or place your order using your RedCard and receive free standard shipping.
    • Your order may ship in multiple packages so we’re able to deliver your order faster. 
    • Some ship to home orders are eligible to have multiple packages consolidated. This may change your delivery dates. Packages that qualify will be eligible for a $1 off discount off of merchandise subtotal. Merchandise subtotal does not include Gift Cards, eGiftCards, MobileGiftCards, gift wrap, tax or shipping and handling charges. Discount will be displayed and applied at checkout. May not be applied to previous orders. Ineligible carts will not be shown an option to consolidate and will not receive the discount.
  • 2-Day Shipping: Due to nationwide shipping delays, 2-day shipping is temporarily unavailable during the holiday season.  We strive to get items to you as fast as possible, but more important to us is to be transparent with how fast our delivery can be given the record volumes both we and our carriers are processing. We expect that many of our items will be delivered before the estimated delivery date. 
  • Express Shipping: Express Shipping is available for pre-order items only. Your item(s) are expected to be delivered within 1 business day after the items have been shipped and picked up by the delivery carrier. 

Please note:
  • Business days don’t typically include weekends, however Saturday and Sunday deliveries may occur in select ZIP codes. 
  • Shipping charges for Express shipping are calculated on a "per order" basis, including shipping, order processing, item selection and packaging costs, and will only apply to the items using these shipping speeds. 
  • While most items ship within 24 hours, some vendors and shipping locations may require additional processing time. This processing time is factored into the estimated delivery date shown at checkout.

There are two easy ways to qualify for free standard or to-the-door shipping when you shop Target.com:
  • Pay for your order with a RedCard™ (Target Credit Card™, Target Debit Card™, or Target™Mastercard®).
  • Spend $35 or more using any payment method.
    • $35 minimum to qualify is based on cart subtotal and doesn't include gift wrap or tax. For example, if your subtotal is $35 or more but some items are scheduled for delivery and some items are scheduled for shipping, you many not qualify for free shipping if the items being shipped don’t total $35 or more.
    • Valid for orders shipped to all 50 states and APO/FPO addresses.

    Offers are not valid on previous orders.

    We'll send an email confirmation as soon as we receive your order. Once we start processing it, items may be canceled for reasons such as:
    • An item becomes unavailable
    • The payment method can't be processed
    • The shipping address can't be verified
    For order pickup or Drive Up, we'll cancel items that aren't picked up during the pickup window. We'll send an email about the cancellation and, when possible, include helpful details around updating payment or address details or reordering items.

    When your Drive Up or Order Pickup order is ready for pickup, you’ll receive a pickup notification via email within a few hours.

    We can also send you a push notification through the app as soon as it’s ready. First, you’ll need to enable push notifications on your mobile device. You’ll need to check both your device and Target app settings. Here’s how:

    iOS Devices:
    • Device settings: Go to Settings (gear icon) > Target > Notifications
    • Target App settings: Go to Target App > Account/Name tab >  Notifications > Orders (Pickup, Drive Up & delivery status)

    Android Devices:
    • Device settings: Go to Settings app > Applications > Application Manager > Target app > Notifications
    • Target App settings: Go to Target App > Account tab > settings > manage notifications > Verify Orders box is selected. 

    Drive Up and Order Pickup orders are held for three days, unless your order contains fresh grocery items. If your order isn’t picked up within three days, we’ll cancel the order and issue a refund to your original form of payment. You can extend your pickup window by an additional three days on your Order details page, unless your order contains fresh grocery items. You must do this before the end of your initial pickup window. 

    Select stores are offering fresh grocery pickup for select items, including essentials like milk, cheese, fresh produce and a variety of frozen food items. Orders with fresh items will be held until the end of the next business day.

    Drive Up
    Adding an alternate pickup person isn’t available for Drive Up orders. You’ll have three days to pick up your order after you’ve received the ready for pickup notification. If you’re unable to pick up your order, you can cancel the order or let the pickup window expire or extend your pick up by 3 days. 

    Order Pickup
    Yes, you can add or change the pickup person for your in-store pickup order or on the order details page. This person can pick up your order by presenting a valid photo ID. You can also add an alternate pickup person when you receive the email notification that your order is ready to pickup.

    Drive Up and Pickup orders can be canceled on Target.com by selecting Orders or in the app by selecting Purchases in the Account/Name tab, by calling Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869, by requesting cancellation at Guest Services in your pickup store or by not picking the order up within the pickup window. 

    Drive Up and Order Pickup orders are held for three days.     Gift wrap is available with most items for a flat rate of $5.99. If you buy multiple quantities of the same item, the like items will be wrapped together for a flat rate of $5.99. Gift wrap styles and colors are limited and change frequently. Styles may include gift boxes or gift bags, depending on the size needed, and feature red, white and bullseye designs.

    We’re unable to offer gift wrap on Order Pickup items, items sold by a Target +™ Partner, large items including furniture, car seats, play yards and televisions, and other select items that ship directly from the manufacturer. Gift wrap must be added to your order during checkout. We’re unable to make changes once an order has been submitted.

    To add gift wrap to an item in your cart:
    1. Mark the checkbox next to my order includes a gift.
    2. Proceed to checkout.
    3. Under gift options, you have the option to enter a from name and gift message.
    4. To add gift wrap, mark the checkbox next to wrap it for $5.99.
    • If you buy multiple quantities of the same item, like items will be wrapped together.

    Some items ship in their original packaging, and there’s no way to hide what it is. In most cases, this is noted on the item detail page and during checkout. If the item you wish to purchase can’t be left in a safe space or if you’re giving it as a gift and don’t want to ruin the surprise, here are a couple options:
    • Have the item sent to your workplace or to a relative’s house.
    • Choose order pickup or ship it to a store if available.
