Product availability

Target App

• To determine if an item availability at your store: Search or browse for the item in the Target app and go to the product details page for that item. If you have designated a store as My store, that store’s inventory will display automatically at the top of the page.
• To find inventory at another store: Visit the Account tab, change your My Store to the store you would like to check, return to the product detail page and check the availability status at the top of the page.

Target.com
The "check other stores" feature lets you check availability of items at specific Target stores using Target.com.

• To determine if an item availability at your store: Find the item on Target.com and go to the product details page. If you have designated a store as My store, that store’s inventory will display automatically at the top of the page.
• To find inventory at another store:
  1. From the item’s product details page, select Edit store. 
  2. Search among the stores listed, or search for a new store by entering a ZIP code or city and state, then select Find stores.
     • You'll get a list indicating which stores in that area have the item in stock.

Keep in mind, quantities are limited and availability changes quickly. As a result, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of production information. We recommend calling the store to confirm availability.
 

Target doesn't offer layaway on Target.com or in Target stores. Target also doesn't hold paid purchases in store.

Target App

1. From the Target app, select the Account/Name tab. 
2. To change the store, select Change to the right of the store currently listed. 
3. A window will pop up with a local store list. You can search for stores by entering in city, state or ZIP code. 
4. Pick your desired store location and then select the Save button.
5. Select the store "i" icon to the right of the store name and address to learn more about the Target store directions, hours, phone number and services.

Target.com

1. Navigate to the Target.com home page.
2. In the upper right hand side of the Target.com home page, select Find stores.
3. Enter a ZIP code, or city and state, and then Find store to review a local store list and learn more about store directions, hours, phone number, services, or Make it my store.

Target App

1. Navigate to My Target tab on lower right.
2. Select Change under My store to modify your desired store location.
3. You can search for stores by entering ZIP code or city, state in the search field.
4. Select Save.

Target.com

1. Access your Target account on Target.com.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Edit in the My store section. 
4. Select Change my store.
5. Search by zip or city, state. Select Look up.
6. Select the radio button next to the desired store.
7. Select Shop this store.

When an item is out of stock, we may offer the option to receive notifications when it’s back in stock. If this is available for an item, the Target.com product details page will display a notify me when it’s back button. If you’re using the Target app, it will be a notify me button. You’ll need to sign in to your Target.com account in order to sign up for notifications. When signing up for notifications on Target.com, you’ll receive the notification via email. If you’re using the Target app, you’ll receive a push notification to your mobile device.

Opting in to receive notifications doesn’t reserve or guarantee item availability, so you may want to act fast in the event the item goes out of stock again. Exclusions may apply for high demand or limited items. The notification feature doesn’t apply to store inventory.

To unsubscribe from notifications, select unsubscribe on Target.com, or don’t notify me in the Target app.

If you’ve enabled location permissions for the Target app, we're able to detect that you are inside a Target store, or very nearby. We'll show you item locations, pricing, and weekly ads all specific to the store you're currently in.

Target App

• Find the store icon under the Account tab, the store hours are listed below your store name.
  • If you are looking for the weekly hours, select Change and then select the "i" icon, and then select to “i” icon under Store hours to display the full week.
  • If you want to know other local store hours, you can select the "i" icon on the listed stores or search for city, state, ZIP code for other stores.

Target.com

1. Navigate to the Target.com home page.
2. In the upper right hand side of the Target.com home page, select Find stores.
3. Enter a ZIP code, or city and state, and then Find store to review a local store list.
4. Underneath your desired store, select Store info to review the full week’s hours and services.

Target App

1. To find out what services your store offers, select the Account/Name tab in the Target app. Your store will appear in the cell below Purchases.
2. Select Change to the right of the store name, and then select the “i” icon to determine all of that store's service offerings.
   • If you want to change your store or know other local store services, select the radio button to the right of the store name.
   • To view services for other stores, select the “i” icon to the right of each store name.

Target.com

1. Navigate to the Target.com home page.
2. In the upper right hand side of the Target.com home page, select Find stores.
3. Enter a ZIP code, or city and state, and then Find store to review a local store list.
4. Underneath your desired store, select Store info to review the services.
